So pleased you asked! For us, glampacking, also known as flashpacking, means travelling light with a carry-on-sized backpack and staying in hotels rather than hostels.
Due to the frequent late-night toilet excursions, it is critical for both of us as 50+ not-so-grey travellers to have a nearby en-suite. After a long day, the old aching bones and muscles welcome a soft bed with clean sheets. Additionally, we feel obligated to keep our loud snoring to ourselves so as not to disturb other guests.
There will absolutely be no five-star hotels; been there, done that. Instead, our accommodations will be on a budget, which will generally be three-star hotels. Another must-have for us water babies is a pool, especially if we are not staying on the beach. Water soothes our souls and rejuvenates us for the next stage of our journey.
As I think travel is best experienced when fully immersed in a new culture, I recommend taking local transportation like trains, buses, and boats wherever possible. As a result, we are able to interact with the locals in the places we travel. Many times, people will come up to us in an effort to hone their English skills. In return, we gain insight into their way of life and an opportunity to try out some new vocabulary. At the end of the day, we are richer for the experience.

Glampacking has created opportunities that we may not of had otherwise which makes our travels unique and memorable.
